“Nelly” is one of the most beautiful half-Fell ponies you’ll find. He is a 9-year-old black gelding, standing 42 inches tall, and he has all the looks and personality, just look at that mane and tail! Nelly is the barn favorite that everyone wants to ride and drive. He is wonderful with kids, loves to be groomed, and has no kick or bite. Truly a big horse trapped in a little horse’s body, Nelly has exceptional manners and a kind, willing attitude. He has been there and done that, both riding and driving. My 7-year-old can drive him anywhere, he has a nice trot that covers a lot of ground. Nelly is 100% gentle with ZERO buck. You can step on him on the coldest morning, even after a month off, and ask him to walk straight off or pick up a lope without hesitation. He is easy to handle and tack up, and under saddle he is an absolute blast. He will walk, trot, lope circles, and has a good stop. We’ve been roping the sled dummy on him and he is doing great. Nelly has been learning barrels, poles, goat tying, and excels at all of them. He goes wherever you point him, over jumps, through creeks, and down the trails. He will walk on a loose rein all day, confidently leading or following on the trail without a care. Nelly has drug logs and barrels, carried tarps, walked over them, and proudly carried the American flag. He’s had kids and dogs running all around him and never bats an eye. He has been hauled to ropings, barrel races, rodeos, jumped courses, worked cows, drug calves, hog hunted, swam ponds, and traveled through everything from thick brush to boggy creeks and down the road. Trains honking and passing don’t bother him at all. He has seen more country than most people! He even rides English, and my kids love jumping him. Both of my girls, ages 7 and 10, catch him by themselves, saddle and bridle him, and ride him everywhere with ZERO help from an adult. Nelly is truly the coolest little guy around, and everywhere we go he gets all the attention thanks to his sweet personality and stunning looks. He leads, loads, ties, bathes, and hauls like a pro. He gets along great with both big horses and minis. He is an easy keeper, and stays fat on air. Nelly is UTD on farrier, vaccinations, and deworming. 

Rio is an exceptional 6-year-old registered POA gelding standing 13.2 hands tall. He is truly the kind you don’t see offered for sale, he’s a part of our family and one of the favorites in the barn. Rio is always the first to meet you at the gate and has that easy-going disposition. He has all the outside experience and has been trail ridden down the road, through the thickets, hog hunted on, hauled to town, and exposed to ropings, barrel races, and rodeos. Outside on the trail he takes great care of his rider, he will go down steep creek banks slow and easy and cross the creek with ZERO jumping. He will walk right thru it with no hesitation. Did I mention Rio does TRICKS?? He will lay down and sit up on command!! ❤️ We have been roping the sled dummy on him and have started him on the barrels and poles. Rio is very athletic, turns around correctly, wants to stop hard, and will step off into a slow, smooth lope from a standstill. This gelding is extremely easy to ride with smooth gaits and genuinely wants to please. He side passes, opens and closes gates, picks up correct leads, counter-arcs, and lopes easy, collected circles. My 7 and 10 year old can catch, brush, saddle, and ride him completely on their own. Rio is 110% safe with absolutely no buck, bite, or kick. He can be left off for months, caught, and stepped right into a lope he’s just that honest and uncomplicated. He is gentle, leads, loads, bathes, stands tied quietly, great to groom, saddle, bridle, hauls well, and gets along great with others (currently turned out in a mixed herd of eight). He rides the same in the arena as he does outside and is an AMAZING trail horse. He is not buddy or barn sour and will confidently ride off alone wherever you ask him to go. Rio is just the right size to carry a kid or an adult. My husband is 5’11 and rides him everywhere also! He is UTD on farrier, dewormer, and vaccinations.
